Questions about lighting control (scenes and routines)

What are Smart Home Scenes?

Color scenes are shades and color sequences that have a specific effect on our body.

Using the light control of Klyqa's Smart Home lamps , you can choose from millions of colors and temperatures as well as pre-programmed scenes. These simulate candlelight, for example, by using a sequence of colors.

When choosing colors and scenes, always pay attention to the blue and red tones: For example, light that is more bluish improves our concentration and performance, but has been proven to make it harder for us to fall asleep. Warm light that is slightly reddish, on the other hand, helps our eyes and the whole body relax.

What are smart home routines?

In this article you will learn what exactly routines are and how you can set them up.

Routines make smart lighting a very special experience, namely your experience. They are individually tailored to you and your home.

With routines, you can coordinate different Smart Home lamps and pre-program them for certain situations. For example, set up a " good night routine " every day from 10 p.m. in which only every second ceiling spotlight in the hallway is dimmed so that you can always find your way safely to the bedroom.

Or a relaxation routine where you use the lighting to quickly transform your living room into a yoga room by lighting it up in different shades of red, yellow and orange. Club colours in the living room for Bundesliga games or brightly coloured colour changes at a party in the hobby room. Be creative, be smart!

How do I create routines?

Very easy and super fast – with our Klyqa app.

Here you can create a new routine with just a few taps, give it an individual name and add the smart home lightbulbs and rooms to be controlled. Now you set the color and intensity for each of the smart lamps, save it - and you're done!

For example, if you use several spotlights in a row - for example in a hallway or in your bathroom - you can use this smart spotlight to create impressive lighting effects such as harmonious color gradients or brightness gradients.

What is automated or intelligent lighting?

With intelligent automated lighting control, you can program and vary the lighting in your home in advance.

It is, so to speak, the smart development of analog timers.

This type of light control offers you more convenience in your everyday life. For example, you can easily set the light in your bedroom to go off in ten minutes on your cell phone in the evening. This means you don't have to lift a finger while you're half asleep. Or you can have your outdoor lighting and the light in your hallway turn on a few minutes before you arrive. Automated lighting also helps you save electricity and money. As soon as you leave the house with your smartphone in your pocket, all the lights turn off automatically. Practical, isn't it? You also benefit from our Klyqa Smart Home lamps and automated lighting when it comes to burglary protection - this way you can ensure that different lights come on at different times every day while you're on vacation. This is guaranteed to scare away any burglar!

How do I automate my lights?

Currently, you can automate your lights using routines. These are part of our Klyqa app and are very easy to set up.

An example: Every morning at 7:30 a.m., the bedroom lighting wakes you up with high-energy daylight (e.g. via the Daylight scene), while dimmed, warm-glowing lamps in the hallway light your way to the kitchen and coffee machine and turn off by themselves five minutes later.

More automation functions will be added in the future. For example, the integration of the exact times for sunrise and sunset.
