Information on the authenticity of customer reviews
The trust our customers place in our products is very important to us. Klyqa collects reviews through two independent service providers, which are then displayed in various places on the website. Both service providers use automated and manual measures to verify the authenticity of the incoming reviews.
The JudgeMe widget
The JudgeMe widget service is directly integrated into the Shopify store system. After the order process, JudgeMe automatically sends an email to the email address registered in the Klyqa customer account, requesting a customer review.
Incoming reviews are automatically verified based on the shop's sales history. Reviews are only counted if they are related to a specific order. Verified customers who have left reviews via JudgeMe are marked "confirmed" and have been verified by the widget.
Furthermore, Klyqa is authorized to subsequently verify reviews not received via JudgeMe and integrate them into the widget. In this process, employees manually check the authenticity of the purchase and the origin of the review from the email address registered in the customer account, using the associated Shopify data.
The rating will only be displayed in the widget once the correlation of this data has been confirmed.
More information about how JudgeMe works is explained here (available in English only).
In addition, our customers have the option to rate us externally via Trustpilot.
The external service provider Trustpilot
To leave a review on Trustpilot, users must create an account, unless they have a conflict of interest with the company being reviewed, for example, because they are an employee. Creating a user account requires providing an email address, which the company uses to contact reviewers.
Users agree to adhere to the company's guidelines for reviewers .
Every review on Trustpilot is checked by the company's proprietary automated fraud detection software, which identifies and removes fake reviews. It examines multiple data points, such as IP addresses, user IDs, device characteristics, location data, and timestamps, to determine if there are any suspicious patterns of behavior. The software is supported by a team of specialists who can manually review and, if necessary, delete reviews and block abusive users.
