What filters does the Air Klyna use?

🔹 HEPA H13 filter – With micronAir blue technology from
Freudenberg (world leader in filter technology). Removes bacteria,
Pollen, fine dust (PM2.5), viruses, smoke and pet hair
and reduces 99.95
% of Feline Calicivirus (FCV)
.

🔹 Ultra-3D filterWashable pre-filter that traps coarse dust and dirt.

Can I wash the filter?

🚫 No, the HEPA H13 filter must not be washed!
Moisture can cause mold and bacterial growth .

Here's how to clean it properly:

Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust.

Use a small vacuum cleaner to remove debris.

The Ultra 3D pre-filter (black mesh) can be washed – make sure it is completely dry before you put it back in.

How long does the HEPA filter last?

🕒 Approx. 6 months – The Klyqa app calculates the exact lifespan based on your usage and reminds you in time to replace it.

How is the lifespan of the HEPA H13 filter calculated?

The lifespan of the HEPA H13 filter starts automatically after its first contact with air, as it is a HEPA filter. This is an inherent characteristic of this type of filter and occurs regardless of the actual use of the device.

Why does the lifespan of the HEPA H13 filter decrease even when it is not in use?
The lifespan of a HEPA filter, especially one with filtration properties, begins to shorten as soon as it is exposed to air, even if the device is not actively used.
This is because HEPA filters, especially those with active carbon, passively absorb moisture and air pollutants. Over time, this absorption leads to a gradual decrease in filter efficiency.

Therefore, we recommend storing replacement filters in airtight packaging until they are actually needed. Once opened, the filter begins to degrade through oxidation, moisture absorption, and the passive absorption of pollutants from the ambient air.

Can I use third-party filters?

🚫 No! Only original Klyqa filters guarantee the best performance and longevity of your device.
